About the Role

We’re looking for a talented appointment setter to support our sales team by managing the full appointment-setting process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting follow-ups, and scheduling meetings with potential clients.

Success in this role requires strong outreach skills, proficiency in CRM tools, and close coordination with sales reps to ensure a seamless sales funnel. The appointment setter will contribute to telemarketing efforts, automate routine tasks, and engage prospects across various time zones to consistently move high-quality leads through the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the sales team, the appointment setter plays a vital role in driving outbound outreach and supporting the overall sales process. Key duties include:

  • Lead Generation – Sourcing potential clients via social media platforms, LinkedIn, and proactive cold calling.
  • Appointment Scheduling – Coordinating directly with key decision-makers to book meetings and sales appointments on behalf of the sales team.
  • Follow-Up Communication – Managing timely follow-ups to confirm appointments, respond to inquiries, and establish rapport with prospects.
  • CRM Maintenance – Accurately recording calls, emails, and client interactions in the CRM to maintain a clear and up-to-date sales pipeline.
  • Team Collaboration – Working closely with sales representatives and managers to refine outreach strategies and optimize lead qualification processes.
  • Objection Handling – Addressing rejections and objections professionally while continuing to pursue outreach goals.

Qualifications and skills

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills to excel in the role:

  • Education. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Work experience. Proven experience at least 2 years in appointment setting, inside sales, telemarketing, or SDR roles.
  • Technical skills. Proficiency in CRM software, automation tools, and scheduling platforms.
  • Communication skills. Strong phone etiquette, excellent written and verbal communication, and active listening.
  • Soft skills. Resilience to rejections, adaptability to client needs, and the ability to manage time effectively.
